September here we go

The end of the summer for me was crazy busy, lots of work and lots going on. It felt like I was just starting to adjust to my life at home so coming back to Halifax for school has been a bit overwhelming. People have been asking me if I am sad to be home, I think people can tell I seem off and it’s hard to explain to them why.

This being said I am actually pumped to be home not sad at all. Over stimulated would be more the right word for how I’m feeling but thats not what I want to talk about in this post. I want to talk about what I am excited for this month.

Firstly, I am actually excited for school. I like learning and be productive and enjoy being in school, a lot more than I like pulling weeds, (thats what I do all summer). I’m feeling positive this is going to be my year and hoping to see some good grades. On top of school this year I am working two jobs so it will be interesting to see how it goes. I am optimistic and really like one of my jobs which is being an on campus ambassador for Amazon Student Prime. Doing promotional work on campus is fun and its cool to be doing something in marketing which is what I want to do in the future.

Secondly, it would not be September without field hockey season. Anyone who knows me knows I love playing field hockey, and there is something so exhilarating about playing for your university. I’ve had so much fun playing field hockey in Australia and I am so excited to bring back the skills I’ve learned. Also I just love my team and spending time with them and field hockey season is one of my favourite times of year.

So it is definitely going to be a busy month and semester but I am excited so September here we go! Please bear with me if this blog is not updated as much as it has been previously.
